The Story of Single Island Shores
The Alexander family has called the Seneca Lake area home for over 30 years, and they are excited to share the ease and beauty of Finger Lakes living with you!
They purchased the Single Island Shores property several years ago, and with the help of local contractors (and a few visits to nearby breweries), they have transformed it into a lakeside retreat. They are replanting trees and shrubs that were removed during construction, leaving open fields for guest recreation, and creating ample space for easy navigation through the property.
The Alexanders paid close attention to every detail, offering guests an authentic taste of the area they are proud to call home. Each cottage features luxury finishes with just the right touch of rustic charm. Knowing a trip to Seneca Lake isn’t complete without a sunset view, they positioned each cottage to face the lake, and they’ve installed fire pits with seating throughout the property for guest enjoyment.
The property even includes one of Seneca Lake’s only islands, which is the inspiration for the name Single Island Shores. If you make your way down to the dock and look back toward the land, you will see it to the left of the Lakefront Chalet.
